We need to get families out of the hospital carparks and into financial adviser's offices to make the important aged care decisions. Take up the challenge and make sure your advice business is aged care ready. #agedcareadvice #financialplanners #financialadvice #accreditedagedcareprofessional #agedcare
We often hear stories of families making aged care decisions in the hospital car park or cafeteria - not the most effective places to make important life decisions for an older family member. Financial planners who are licensed and accredited to provide aged care advice play an important role in helping clients plan ahead or make more effective and strategic decisions. Read Louise Biti's latest opinion article in the The Australian Financial Review - How to avoid making aged care decisions in the car park. https://lnkd.in/g_aw56Sf #agedcareadvice #agedcareaustralia #financialplanners #financialadvice #lifeplanning #decisionmaking #financialadvisers

Changes are coming 🙏 With advancements in health and monitoring technologies, now is the perfect time for reforms to integrate these innovations into aged care. Wearable devices, and smart home systems can improve monitoring, communication, and safety for elderly individuals, particularly those living in remote areas or at home. Many aged care systems are struggling financially, with outdated funding models that are not equipped to handle the rising demand for services. There is a growing public awareness of the need for better aged care services. Families and communities are advocating for reforms to ensure their elderly loved ones are treated with respect and receive proper care. Now is the perfect moment of awareness and push forward meaningful changes.👏🏽
This morning our CEO Tom Symondson appeared on Nine Today Extra discussing how the reforms will improve aged care, particularly for older Australians choosing to age at home. He also discussed the improvements that Australians can expect in terms of the quality of care and availability. Watch the full interview below.
