What’s that saying about being the dumbest person in the room? If it means you’re in the best position to learn, then I wore that title proudly at last week at FIBO in Cologne! My recent journey to one of the world’s largest sports and fitness conferences was a whirlwind of activity and insights. Not only was I surprised by the vastness of the event, covering 11 expansive halls, but the trip was made even more memorable by a chance to meet with an old friend from Saudi Arabia. Ten years ago, Rayan Al-Ghalayini was navigating the waters of post-secondary sports and I was happy to be a small part of his journey. Fast forward to today, and we’re sharing our entrepreneurial quests in an unexpected encounter in Germany. I came to him with a slew of questions—some might call them 'stupid'—about business ventures in Saudi Arabia. He reassured me that there weren't any stupid questions. But the truth is, those 'stupid' questions are often the keys to unlocking the most profound wisdom. Rayan’s insights were a game-changer, helping me to draft a new playbook that’s already saving NOQii Digital money and sharpening our strategic edge for what’s to come.
