ASTM's forensic sciences committee (E30) has approved a new standard that will help to improve automated facial recognition search performance. It will help to improve search results for people using a facial recognition system (FRS). “The new standard will help in standardizing the steps of how to search an image in an FRS in a way that makes the least number of changes to the image,” says ASTM member Lora Sims. https://lnkd.in/ej2rDHzh #forensics #forensicscience #facialrecognition #FRS
