Difference between "charity" and "solidarity": The charitable person gives you some money so that you can make it. Solidarity works with you to change things and build justice. Let's reflect on this for a moment. When we give to charity, we may feel good about ourselves, but are we really solving the root cause of the problem? Solidarity requires us to stand with those who are marginalized and work together towards a solution. Let's aim to move beyond charity and towards solidarity to create lasting change in our communities. #solidarity #socialjustice #communitybuilding
