This year, the Midis team ventured into the heart of Latgale for a day filled with adventure, camaraderie, and growth. 📍 Ludza: Our day began with thrilling orienteering activities, pushing us to navigate and collaborate effectively. The Relevance of Trade Fairs in Today’s Business Landscape. Back in 2012, when I started working in the exhibition industry, I heard that the era of trade fairs was coming to an end. Development of technology and new communication possibilities were treated as a threat. Here we are, 12 years later... and the Fair Trades are still strong 💪 Rather than ending, trade fairs are evolving. The future is happening now! From my observations, the value of in-person interaction remains significant in many sectors, including #foodandbeverage sector, in which networking opportunities and the advantage of physical product demonstrations are hard to replicate online. As an organizer of WorldFood Poland, NutraFood Poland and ColdChain Poland exhibitions, I honestly believe in high value of the in-person aspect of trade fairs for building relationships, showcasing products, and engaging with business partners and customers. I’m curious to hear your perspectives on the importance of participating in trade fairs. Do you believe that trade fairs still hold significant value for businesses in terms of networking, building relationships, and discovering new market trends? Sales Boost: Pop-up stores can significantly boost sales. Social Media Impact: Eventbrite's report also noted that 98% of consumers create content at events and activations, with 100% of those attendees sharing that content on social media. This highlights the potential for experiential marketing to generate user-generated content and social media buzz. Customer Engagement: Interactive experiences and events in pop-up stores can lead to higher customer engagement and satisfaction. The Shopify Plus blog reported that 61% of consumers believe that pop-up stores offer a more personalised and unique shopping experience. Emotional Connection: According to a study by the Event Marketing Institute, 74% of consumers reported having a more positive opinion about a brand after attending an experiential marketing event. Brand Loyalty: A study by Freeman and Chief Marketer found that 59% of consumers who attend brand activations are more likely to make a purchase with that brand in the future. #marketing #experiential #events

What can change in 11 years?    As summer fades, the fair season is just around the corner. And as always, it’s taking me back to my very first exhibition in 2013.    The difference is remarkable - not just in how our stand looks, but in how much we all have learned. Today, we know what to expect and the results a successful fair can bring.    It was in Sial 2013 that I met some of the most trusted business partners that we are still working with today.    But back in 2013, I attended it with a mix of excitement and worry. As an introvert, the idea of talking to so many people from around the world for five days straight felt daunting and even a little frightening. Add a language barrier, and the challenge seemed even greater.    Now, 11 years and countless fairs later - whether it's Sial, Anuga, or Expo West - I’ve come to appreciate the chaos, vibrancy, and long days. Instead of dread, I now look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and building new partnerships.    Sial is just over a month away, and I’m eager to see what it holds for us this year. #FairSeason #CareLabDivas #InternationalBusiness

ℹ️ Review of P'tit Clown 4th participation at the Spielwarenmesse Nuremberg trade fair 🤡 It was personally my 2nd edition at the world's largest toy fair🌍, which took place from January 30th to February 3rd. We participated with the resources of a family-owned company, meaning with all our heart in the stand that we designed and set up ourselves, and with a modest but valiant team of 2 people on site, including Christophe Jombart and then Vincent MAGRO. When I compare it with some of our competitors who came with a delegation of more than 20 people (equivalent to 2 soccer teams combined), I think we have therefore focused on quality rather than quantity. Our unique objective on site: to develop our business outside of France. With 85% of our turnover generated in France, P'tit Clown still has a lot to do to continue its export development🚀. It is customary to say that large trade fairs of this type are becoming less effective with decreasing traffic. However, one month after packing up our stand, I have a very positive initial assessment of Nuremberg 2024 : ➡️ Beyond the visibility with the 70,000 professionals who traverse the aisles, we returned with many qualified prospect contacts, the majority of whom were Germans, only 4 French, and Europeans in general, from over 20 different countries. ➡️ Out of these contacts, some have already placed orders on our website ptitclown.com, coming from Germany, France, the UK, Sweden, Poland, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia, and Italy. And more orders are expected in the coming weeks. The amount of orders placed have already reached the costs generated by the show⚖️. ➡️ Having offices in Normandy 🐄 has many advantages but also some drawbacks. The most significant of these is not being able to easily see some of our clients located in Georgia, DOM TOM, Iraq and all over Europe. This trade fair is therefore the perfect opportunity for an annual meeting !🥂 ➡️ P’tit Clown sells 3,500 references spread across what we call the permanent collection, as well as the two major highlights of Halloween and Christmas. Our Halloween catalog with over 1,000 references is what generates the most interest, especially with our dozens of automatons 🧟♀️ and giant structures 💀, creating a "wow" effect !
