Some additional information for the #insar scientific community to appreciate the level of technical innovation and science in the development of the stress detection technology #insarplus:   - while for this type of detailed analysis it is recommended to use a high resolution satellite (e.g. RadarSat-2 or TerraSAR-X) for optimum point density, #Sentinel1 was used instead.   - while for this type of detailed analysis it is recommended to use 2 to 3 tracks per orbit for optimum point density before decomposition, only 1 track per orbit was used.   - while for this type of analysis it is recommended to integrate both permanent scatterer and distributed scatterers information for an optimum point density before interpretation, only permanent scatterers were used.   - while for this type of analysis it is believed that it is impossible to create data, original data was first decimated to keep only high fidelity information then statistically repopulated to match the pixel acquisition resolution.   The level of resolution and accuracy of the #insarplus results for #infrastructure and civil engineering applications are still unmatched by the industry and remain the best in the world. #copernicus #innovation #infrastructure #safety #maintenance
