Here's why: Recognizing even the tiniest victories can boost morale and make everyone feel valued. 🏆 It's not just about winning big games; it's about acknowledging personal bests and team efforts. 🤝 Encouraging Open Dialogue Encouraging athletes, parents, and coaches to speak up creates a safe space for everyone. When people feel heard, they're more likely to stick around and contribute positively. 🗣️ Promoting Respect for All Respect is the glue that holds a community together. By treating everyone with kindness, we set a standard for how we all should act, both on and off the field. 🤗 Inclusive Team Activities Plan activities that include everyone, regardless of skill level. This encourages bonding and breaks down barriers, making everyone feel like they're part of the team. 🤝 Let's keep the conversation going! Share your thoughts or tag someone who's making a difference in your athletic community. 📣 And remember, for personalized coaching that empowers and supports growth, visit HAIRSTONFAMILYFITNESS.COM 💪 #InclusiveSports #CommunityBuilding #PersonalGrowth #HairstonFamilyFitness #youthathletedevelopmentacademy #32Sports #32family #ProPerformanceNetwork

Showing regulated industry professionals how to stand out to their ideal clients. Personal brand coaching that's comfortable not cringe. I lift brands – and weights 🏋🏾♀️
✨ 'It's about celebrating people who don't try to fit in but are true to themselves.' This theme has been a focus in the You Are The Media Club and the marvellous newsletter sent without fail by Mark Masters every Thursday morning. 🔹 How much do you try to fit in? 🔹 What's your reason for doing this? 🔹 More significantly, does this conflict with staying true to yourself? We'd been exploring this idea in the YATM Club and you can get an insight into our discussion and how Mark kicked this off here. 👇🏾 https://lnkd.in/ekxYG8rN It's ideas like this that makes You Are The Media and all it offers so appealing. I've found a community where I can explore ideas around building a business which puts people and service at its heart rather than solely focusing on profit, and where I can share my thoughts without judgement. I can also get honest feedback from people whom I trust. I've been part of You Are The Media for over 4 years now and, despite the core of the community being located on the south coast, that hasn't stopped me forming strong bonds. Mark Masters has built the community on the foundations of honesty, openness, trust, inclusivity, supportiveness, taking a genuine interest in and care for the individual, friendship and fun. 🙌🏾 You don't have to feel like you've got to fit in. Start by accepting who you are and you'll get support from people who understand you. If this sounds appealing, then sign up for the newsletter or go to the YATM website for more information about events and the club (discussion groups, live learning, accountability sessions and much more for £30 a month) You may even wish to join us for the annual YATM Creator Day in Poole - it's on 15th May 2025 and if you'd like a taster, just watch this https://lnkd.in/eNnw_Jjq 💭 Are you looking for a way to work that fits you rather than you having to fit in? Why do people fan? The number one reason is NOT because they want to see their team or favourite athletes win. NOT because they want to recognize their favourite artist for an amazing drop. 95% of fans exercise their fandom because they want to establish a meaningful connection with other people who share the same passion. It’s about bonding at scale. It’s about sharing a feeling. It’s about creating memories together. It doesn’t matter if you are a die-hard, paint-faced, fully dressed for the occasion fan, or if you are a casual temporary fan just living in the moment on a small or a big crew, or if you even share the same levels of passion with others around you at the stadium or on the couch. What matters is that fandom is inclusive. It has a common language. And it strongly fulfills a people’s identity. Fandom is an enormous opportunity for brands as it opens a gateway. Brands can not only celebrate or support the same passions but also enable people to experience their fandom in a way that was never done or felt before. “For the True” is an expression of every fan. A disruption of fan stereotypes and an invitation to join however you fan. It was specially developed for a Hard Seltzer to play a role in a beer-centric environment such as hockey. A platform that was launched at NHL All Star where people could print custom Fan Cans and now debuts at the NHL Playoffs with 2 spots. Expect to see much more. https://lnkd.in/ekqMg3jm

I recently shared that during the RSL match with the Columbus Crew I had various thoughts. These thoughts were prompted by that specific match. Different match, different thoughts. Heck, different sport, different thoughts. Just feel the need to share the thoughts I had on waiting. Like the Tom Petty song, waiting really is the hardest part. And it is precisely because we take it on faith and to the heart that it is such a chore. That was definitely the case once the dust settled at the Columbus goal on Saturday night. The match stopped. The clock didn’t, but play halted. Players were checked and the Crew’s goalie seemed to have caught the worst of it. Almost immediately, the waiting set in and it was unbearable. Was there a foul? Would a card be awarded - maybe even cards? Was the goalie really hurt or was it a time suck? When the goalie exited, a smattering of applause erupted as anyone knows should happen even for players on the opposing team. In that time between the collision between those players, the referee’s whistle and resumption of play, mere minutes, but waiting was required. Too often in my life, I have neglected to take advantage of such opportunities afforded Columbus and RSL to make sure things are alright with others (even myself), to assess my plan or objectives (and make necessary adjustments), and stay hydrated and healthy. And so on. I think the imagery I caught of players waiting is why I started thinking about how it all applies to life, at least to me. It was a reminder to take the time life’s moments offer as a value, not a waste. It was a reminder to hope for people’s wellness and wellbeing, including and maybe especially my own. Maybe waiting becomes a waste when we fail to account for ourselves, when we neglect to chalk up our benefits vs. our hardships, when reject the notion of living fully each and every minute and moment we are given. I think Maya Angelou offered the challenge that when we know better we need to do better. All of this from one poor snapshot. Hoping to stay open to learning new things and having previous learning reinforced whatever the form the teacher may take. Wishing everyone peace, love, and understanding.
