Here's how you can exude confidence during property inspections and showings1Know Your StuffBefore stepping into a showing or inspection, ensure you're armed with all the necessary information about the property. This includes understanding the property's features, history, and any maintenance issues that have been addressed or are pending. When you can answer questions on the spot and provide detailed explanations, you signal to prospects that you're a reliable and authoritative source, which builds trust and confidence in your ability to manage the property. This is where invited experts will be adding contribution.2Dress the PartFirst impressions matter and your appearance plays a significant role in how others perceive your confidence. Dressing professionally for property inspections and showings sends a message that you take your role seriously. It's not just about wearing a suit; it's about choosing attire that is clean, well-fitted, and appropriate for the property's style and the expectations of your audience.3Positive Body LanguageYour body language speaks volumes before you even say a word. Maintain eye contact, offer a firm handshake, and stand tall with your shoulders back. These non-verbal cues project self-assuredness. Additionally, a genuine smile can make you appear more approachable and friendly, which can help put prospective tenants or buyers at ease.4Clear CommunicationCommunicating clearly and concisely is essential during showings and inspections. Avoid using jargon that might confuse your audience, and instead, explain terms in simple language. Speak at a measured pace, loud enough to be easily heard. By ensuring your message is understood, you demonstrate command over the subject matter and respect for your audience's comprehension.5Anticipate QuestionsProspective tenants and buyers will likely have questions, so anticipate these inquiries and prepare your responses in advance. Knowing the common concerns and interests related to the property allows you to address them proactively, which can impress your audience and further establish your expertise and preparedness.6Handle ObjectionsHandling objections gracefully is a true test of confidence. Stay calm and listen carefully to any concerns raised. Acknowledge the validity of the concern and provide a thoughtful, solution-oriented response. This shows that you are not only confident in the property's value but also in your ability to manage any issues that may arise
Congratulations on this incredible achievement! Being named Employee of the Month is a testament to your hard work and dedication. You’ve set a great example for everyone, and we are excited to see what you’ll accomplish in the future."

5 BIG THINGS I learned this week: (1) Sunday travel sucks, but it's worth it (most of the time) when you have to have an early start on Monday morning 😬 (2) Nothing more gratifying than sharing results to a c-level audience, and they (a) show great appreciation, (b) believe you even when you're sharing hard truths, and (c) start taking action based on the work you have done. (3) A random duck call in the middle of a meeting can be an effective way to get someone's attention 🦆 🦆 🦆 (4) Sometimes you have to make fast decisions to take advantage of an amazing opportunity. I'm grateful for a leadership team that can process these opportunities quickly. (5) And lastly, our "week of working together" was a huge success. There is a positive chemical reaction when you get to be face-to-face, in person; and that time creates a stronger chemistry for the work you do together. I can't wait until we do it again 😀 Onward to another great week. Better understanding. Better decisions. That's KS&R.

Helping individuals, teams and organizations to develop Leadership, Effectiveness, Accountability and Productivity.
“Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.” -Paul J. Meyer First, give yourself permission to love the life you have today, even as you’re planning an even brighter future. COMMITMENT means staying loyal to what you said you were going to do, long after the mood you said it in has left. PLANNING is required to get to your destination. Not every road will take you where you want to be. FOCUS on what you have and not what you don't have, and be thankful for it. If one good thing happens amongst a hundred bad things, focus on the one good thing. COMMIT… PLAN… FOCUS… and make this new month full of your best LEAP yet! Be Grateful… Celebrate Thriving… Always LEAP higher… Your 2nd Coach, Wright!

All of these Psychologists have certainly made important contributions. But using citation metrics to rank "Top" scientists ignores the many other ways that scientists contribute to or harm scientific progress. As we've recently seen in various fraud and questionnable research practice investigations in the behavioral sciences, some scientists may look astounding on a limited number of dimensions such as citations or publications, but pollute the scientific literature with unreliable research or as toxic mentors and colleagues. By focusing on individual achievements, such metrics incentivize scientists to do whatever is best for their careers, regardless of what is best for science. We need to move towards a system when scientists are rewarded or punished for their entire range of contributions to science, not just their individual achievements. This is a pretty cool accolade to have and a great group of colleagues to be in.

Have you ever been so caught up in the constant “go” mentality that you kind of forget to embrace the journey. You forget to embrace how far you’ve come because you’re always hyper focused on what you need to do next. As professionals, that is our job. When I started in my current role at CE 2 years ago, our division of the company was brand new. New markets and customer bases that no one focused on and quite honestly gave the attention that was deserved to those customers. I had maybe 30 customers and 50-100 properties that We supported. We were building something, creating new relationships and new boundaries that we had never explored before. This year I’m finishing with 102 customers and more than 250 properties that we currently support. And as a company we are heaps and bounds about where we were 2-3 years ago. We’re still building. We’re still growing. But it’s important for us to see how far we’ve come. It’s important for everyone to see their growth as well. I’ve met and done business with some amazing people. I work with amazing people at CE. I am grateful for every single person that has been a part of that journey from two years ago. My whole point is this… The journey is why we do things. It’s accomplishing goals. It’s doing things that haven’t been done before. It’s building something better. Enjoy the highs, enjoy the lows, and take time to see how far you’ve come. Then figure out where you want to go next. Happy new year everyone.

2023 is wrapping up and what a year it’s been for the mortgage banking and housing finance industry. For CEOs, Managing Directors, CFOs, SVPs, risk managers, and strategy officers, the ground under our feet seemed to shift as we grappled with very low residential mortgage origination volume, bank failures, regulatory changes, and volatile asset values. Everything seemed monumental as we made the decisions our enterprises needed made. As the calendar turns, let’s reflect on how we handled it and look forward to what comes next. Show you’re proud of your industry and colleagues. Embrace your community and family. Let’s put 2023 to rest, 2024 is going to require even greater focus.

Financial Advisor: Entrepreneurs, executives, & sales leaders rely on me to show them how to help keep their business open, their families protected, and their money working harder than them. | Father | Man of Faith
Success deserves celebration. Taking the time to celebrate achievements, big or small, not only acknowledges hard work but also motivates and inspires continued effort and dedication. This is especially true if you're a leader of a company or a team. Recognizing the success of hitting a corporate revenue goal: ➡ Shows your team you notice them ➡ Elevates the sales, marketing, and ops teams who made it happen ➡ Shows the employees that you're paying attention to the details of their actions, not just numbers. ➡ It reinforces the value of the journey and the effort invested. ➡ Creates an environment where achievement is valued. What are you celebrating this month? — I'm John Cole. I work with business owners, entrepreneurs, and top-sales professionals to make sure their money works way harder than they ever do. Stick around for the journey. 🔔 Follow me and ring the bell in my profile to see my posts ✅ Reach out to me
