As yesterday was International Women in Engineering Day, we proudly acknowledged the outstanding contributions of women engineers and reminded everyone of the importance of diversity and inclusion in the offshore wind sector! 🌬   To celebrate, we wanted to share the story of a recent visit we received from young girls interested in the offshore wind sector! 👷♀️   These scholars had the opportunity to be with our teams in our Madrid headquarters office, where they learned more about our competitive sector from different and various departments of our company, encouraging greater gender equality in STEM fields.   But that’s not all! Globally, OW works to promote STEM opportunities, developing scholarships and internships to educational programs that promote the involvement of women in these sectors.   We want to take this day as an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the diverse talents and achievements of our OW women engineers! By supporting and empowering women in STEM, we can create a more equitable and innovative future for all. ⚡   Let's continue to inspire the next generation of women engineers! 💪 #ProudtobeOW #renewableenergy #offfshorewind #INWED24 #InternationalWomenInEngineeringDay

One might say that architecture is not an engineering science, but the gender balance in this discipline is much more balanced than in other engineering professions. I would like to encourage all young women: Please choose this path into the engineering professions! You are very welcome, you are needed here!
