Start with the end in mind. Determine what you want your students to learn and be able to do by the end of the course. 📌Break down the course into manageable chunks. Create modules or units that focus on specific topics or skills. 📌Include a variety of learning activities. Mix up lectures, readings, discussions, and hands-on exercises to keep students engaged. 📌Make sure each lesson builds on the previous one. Make sure students have a solid foundation before moving on to more advanced material. If you are moving your course content online, its a good idea to present the content in chunks of information because this 'chunking' helps students learn more effectively (Felder & Brent, 2016).
