😀 Team Member Spotlight Dani joined Waterstons in 2023 as a technology consultant, but we bet you can’t guess what she studied at university… “After I graduated with a BSc in Maths and Biology (Natural Sciences), I started my career in the water industry as a Business Continuity and Emergency Planner Graduate.  “I learned all about the ins and outs of the water and waste sector and how the teams prevent and prepare for all types of incidents, but while it was interesting, it didn’t make me tick. I started looking for roles in the consulting area and discovered Waterstons. I currently am a Technology Consultant but aim to work in the Advisory sector within the next year – something Waterstons supports through its commitment to continuous learning and development. “As a technology consultant, I don’t know what each day will bring. I’m responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues clients call up with. I love problem-solving, specifically in networks and switches (and no, that doesn’t mean telling people to switch it off and on again…). Sometimes, I can have a solo ‘EUREKA!’ moment, other times, we work as a team with vast experience to get to a solution together.” When asked what her biggest career mistakes were so far, she said: “pressing a big, red button without being sure.
