It's exciting to see such a positive outlook for the #micromobility sector!
According to a recent report, one-third of consumers plan to increase their use of micromobility, and nearly half plan to replace their private vehicles with other modes of transport.
By 2030, the global micromobility market is expected to reach $360 billion, up from $175 billion in 2022. This growth will be mainly driven by e-bike sales, with Europe representing the highest share of that value.

🚀 Exciting times ahead 🌿
I'm thrilled to share a sneak peek of what we've been working on at EVie, our innovative A to B service. As we continue to push the boundaries of shared mobility, we're aiming to introduce shared ‘micro-mobility’.
Why micro-mobility? Because it represents another leap towards our vision of a healthier, more sustainable future. By optimising the use of smaller, agile vehicles, we're reducing resource use, creating single trip solutions impacting traffic congestion, and generally making our islands more livable.
🤝 We’re collaborating with key strategic partners to roll out a convenient pick-up and drop-off system. Imagine the ease of booking a ride through the EVie app, unlocking your vehicle with just a tap, and being on your way in moments. Our digital platform ensures that every step is seamless.
🌍 This isn’t just about technological innovation—it’s about driving real change in the way we think about and use transport.
👀 Watch this space for more updates, and get ready to join us on this exciting journey. Together, we're not just moving from place to place; we're moving towards a better future.

The micromobility industry had ups and downs last year, with demand increasing but providers struggling to remain solvent. What is on the horizon for scooters and e-bikes?
In Southeast Michigan, micromobility was arguably at its peak right before the pandemic, with a multitude of options available in Detroit, Ann Arbor, and other downtowns. But over the past four years, their usage has wavered and companies run into operational issues.
Take a look at how the rest of the country has handled the changes in micromobility over the past year: https://lnkd.in/e2vYEQmK
🚗⚡ Exciting news in the mobility sector. FINN, the innovative car subscription service, just closed a massive €100M Series C round.
🌍 From Munich to the world, FINN is set to accelerate growth in the electric vehicle space, aiming to more than double its current 40% share of low-emission vehicles by 2028.
💹 With this new funding, FINN's valuation soars over $600M. The plan? Supercharge its fleet electrification and solidify the firm’s role as a key driver in the e-mobility revolution.
🌱 Planet First Partners led the financing round with investors like HV Capital, Korelya Capital, UVC Partners, White Star Capital, and Picus Capital, who doubled down their support. This is a decisive vote of confidence in FINN's vision.
👏 Kudos to the FINN team for pushing the boundaries in sustainable transportation. We're witnessing a pivotal shift in how we think about mobility, and FINN is right at the forefront.
