a holistic perspective is a requirement in a planning process while avoiding a policy comes from a partial thinking.
Cyber is an integral part of all military planning and operations spanning multiple domains like space operations. United States Air Force Lt. Col. Theresa Kopecky, 16th Air Force/Air Forces Cyber, #USSF liaison officer has been developing this critical connection, not just between cyber and space, but throughout 16th Air Force operations that expand the globe. “I integrate anywhere I can to help personnel understand the space terrain,” said Kopecky. “For instance, how do space systems work, what are the threat actors, adversaries in space — how do they operate with terrestrial nodes, communications, signals intelligence, personalities or any type of activity that is space related.” https://lnkd.in/gtbgSbZV

16th Air Force (Air Forces Cyber) cultivates air and space superiority by integrating space into all warfighting functions to enhance integrated deterrence. This integration unifies 16th Air Force’s mission support with Space Operations Command to grow readiness. Developing tactics and techniques with the information forces (Public Affairs, Information Operations forces, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations elements, cyberspace forces) supports combat operations—a U.S. Cyber Command mission priority to maximize DoD capabilities.

The integration of #space into #informationwarfare is essential for enhancing #deterrence capabilities. The partnership between Space Operations Command and the 16th Air Force ensures readiness and support for combat operations by leveraging space-based assets. This collaboration supports cyber defense and expands the capabilities of the U.S. military in multiple domains, enhancing strategic and operational planning. #Cyber operations are critical in protecting U.S. space architectures against threats, ensuring the resilience of systems like the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (#NC3). The efforts of #SpaceDelta6 and the 688th Cyberspace Wing exemplify the synergy between space and cyber domains, providing robust defensive measures for the Air Force Information Network (#AFIN). By integrating space operations into all warfighting functions, the Space Force and 16th Air Force are bolstering the security and effectiveness of U.S. military capabilities. This approach not only enhances #nationaldefense but also ensures that space-based systems can support and protect critical missions across the globe. https://lnkd.in/g75r5J-W #SpaceForce #16thAirForce #SpaceOperationsCommand #CyberDefense #InformationWarfare #AFIN #NC3 #StrategicPlanning #NationalDefense #SpaceIntegration #MilitaryCapabilities

In modern-day combat, the segregation of military strengths clears the way for a more unified approach, resulting in more effectiveness in the battlefield. The key to uniting ground, air, and naval forces lies in robust and dependable communication networks. To answer this need, Elbit Systems' C4I & Cyber Division developed the E-Lynx™ series, which features a fusion of Radio Frequency (RF) communication into one software-defined, multi-band, IP-based range of products. The E-Lynx devices offer a secure tactical network solution while sharing a common architecture, enhancing radio communication effectiveness across various landscapes with crucial, uninterrupted connectivity. 🛰 Why America's Investment in Space Is Crucial in the Global Arena 🛰 Recent developments in China's military organization have underscored the strategic importance of space and information domains in modern warfare. China has launched the People’s Liberation Army Information Support Force (ISF), replacing the Strategic Support Force that previously commanded space forces. This reorganization emphasizes information warfare, integrating space, cyber, electronic, and psychological operations, reflecting a shift towards prioritizing these capabilities. The U.S. must recognize the evolving landscape where space is not just a frontier for exploration but a critical battlefield. With China expanding its satellite reconnaissance and planning massive communication networks through mega-constellations, space technology is certainly central to modern military strategy and national security. Space innovation is not just about maintaining competitiveness; it's about safeguarding security in an era where information dominance can decide the outcomes of conflicts. The U.S. must enhance its space capabilities to protect its assets and counter potential threats effectively. Impressive work from Lockheed Martin. Flexibility and Speed to Capability are indeed crucial in responding to unique and evolving threats worldwide. The ability to rapidly develop, test, and deploy capability upgrades, as demonstrated in the Red Sea, highlights the importance of adaptive systems in modern warfare. In today's fast-changing threat landscape, systems must be able to rapidly evolve based on real-world experiences to maintain an edge. As adversarial technologies continue to advance, the continuous evolution of integrated systems like Aegis ensures the US Navy remains at the forefront of 21st Century Security. Just like evolution, adaptability is key. Any C2 or CM system that remains stale and rigid has no chance of remarkable success in today's rapidly changing world, both in combat and the technological field.
