Reflecting on this milestone, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has conducted a comprehensive analysis of the financial well-being and broader economic impact of married same-sex couples. The study unveils compelling statistics: · A notable 77% of individuals in married same-sex couples feel more secure, committed, and settled compared to their single days. · Financially, there's a median net worth difference of approximately $130,000 favoring married over unmarried same-sex couples. Our research on #ChildMarriage has been published in a peer-reviewed scientific journal -- again! This time, we examined the rates and prevalence of child marriage by state and by sex for the journal "Child Abuse & Neglect," along with McGill University researcher Alissa Koski. One of our biggest takeaways is that the fundamental drivers of child marriage reflect a devaluation of girls relative to boys. We cannot allow such devaluation to stand.
