Keynote speaker | Award-winning Author of The Wisest Investment: Teaching Your Kids to Be Responsible, Independent and Money-Smart for Life
For Financial Education, There’s No Place Like Home! According to a recent CNBC survey, most people believe it is a parent's job to teach their kids about money. *64% of students look to their parents and family members as their primary source of financial advice *But only 15% of parents have financial conversations with their kids more than once a week *And 31% never discuss it at all 🤷♂️ Why the silence? Parents may not know what topics to cover, lack guidance on how to bring up financial conversations or simply feel uncomfortable discussing money matters with their children. 📚 The solution? The Wisest Investment: Teaching Your Kids To Be Responsible, Independent and Money-Smart for Life, lays out a financial roadmap for teaching your kids about money. Filled with practical guidance and examples, suggested activities and family discussions, worksheets and self-assessment tools, it’s a book you will turn to again and again. Bonus: your older children can read it too! 🏫 Don’t kids learn this in school? While many schools now offer financial literacy education, the foundation is laid at home. #financialeducation #nextgeneration

This past week, in Co.Lab we focused on solutions to teach children about financial literacy. We propose to add some features to our application that will allow parents to keep track of their child's chorus completion, academic accomplishments, and goals for saving money and giving rewards, all in one centralized place. It's never too early to start teaching basic money skills, and our target age range of 7-12 is crucial for setting a strong foundation. What do you think about the importance of financial literacy for children? #CoLab #FinancialLiteracy #Education #Parenting

Why Don’t Schools Teach Kids About Money? 🤔 Financial literacy is one of the most crucial life skills, yet it remains largely overlooked in our education system. While students spend hours mastering academic subjects, many never learn the basics of managing money — a skill they’ll use every day of their lives. 📚💵 🌍 Imagine a world where every child, regardless of their background, has access to financial education. This knowledge could be a game-changer, particularly for children from disadvantaged communities, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and build a secure financial future. 🔓 But right now, financial literacy is often a privilege for those “in the know.” Why is that? Who benefits when our children remain uninformed about money management? 🤷♂️ We believe that every child should have the tools to understand and manage their finances from a young age, preventing them from falling into the trap of debt — a trap that far too many institutions profit from. 💰 That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new Financial Literacy Course for kids aged 8-12.🎉 We've partnered with industry experts to create an engaging, comprehensive program that includes: ✅ Interactive video lessons ✅ Quizzes and fun projects ✅ Real-life financial scenarios This course will help your child master money, make smart decisions, and build a secure future. 🌟 Join the Movement! 🌟 If you’re passionate about empowering the next generation to be financially savvy, click the link below to join our waitlist and enjoy an exclusive 50% discount: https://lnkd.in/eAdgBKT3 Let’s equip our children with the skills that truly matter and prepare them for a financially empowered future. 🚀 #FinancialLiteracy #Education #PersonalFinance #KidsEducation #FutureReady #Empowerment #lifeskillsforkids
