Venture Manager at Sustainable Aero Lab | Technology-Product-Market-Business innovation in the aerospace, aviation and drone industries
Being on the panel "Making #FutureFlight a reality: What are the key challenges to developing innovative, greener, and game-changing #aerospace technologies?" at the #SAF24 conference has been a great opportunity to share insight between panellists and with the audience on key technical and non-technical issues related to making #aviation #sustainable. The key #takeout for me is that #technology challenges can be won provided #funding is made available and a shared will to develop and deploy #sustainable technologies exists, involving the industry as well as #regulators.

Yesterday, Hagen Wegner had the opportunity to visit ILA Berlin - Pioneering Aerospace. It was exciting to see the efforts by OEMs, suppliers, research institutes and public authorities to push improvements in aviation, space, advanced air mobility and defense. It was visible that a large share of these efforts are working towards a zero emission future. However, in discussions with several players along the aviation value chain, it became clear that there are still doubts and that a lot still needs to be done to make this future a reality! How will the market for SAF and H2 develop? What propulsion systems will be preferred for different applications? How can the production of energy carriers be decarbonized? How can product and corporate carbon footprints be minimized? These key questions are where FEV Europe GmbH and FEV Consulting can support you! It was very exciting to see the launch of our new brand, #FEVAerospace, and we look forward to FEV's efforts towards sustainable mobility further supporting the transformation of the aerospace industry! At FEV Consulting, we're committed to helping businesses navigate towards a sustainable future. Reach out to us to learn more about our #strategies and #innovations for business model development for a #sustainable #future. Together we can shape a greener, more sustainable world!
