We had so much fun coming together with friends and family the other week to participate in 24 Foundation's annual 24 Hours of Booty cancer fundraiser. Founded in 2002 by one man riding a bike for 24 hours, this signature event serves as a celebration of survivorship and the power of peer-to-peer fundraising, with participants committing to bike or walk over a 24-hour period. The event raised over $1.5 million, a nice addition to the over $28 million the foundation has raised since inception. At Pamlico, we believe in the power of community and the importance of giving back, and are honored to have played a small part in this year's success. (And a big shout out to our cohort of younger colleagues who enthusiastically took lead on the overnight race hours!)
