The crash of Air France Flight 296 on June 26, 1988, was caused by a combination of factors, primarily pilot error. During a demonstration flight at an airshow in Mulhouse-Habsheim Airport, France, the Airbus A320 aircraft attempted a low-level flyover. The pilot miscalculated the altitude and airspeed, resulting in the aircraft's failure to gain sufficient altitude during the maneuver. As a result, the aircraft crashed into trees beyond the runway, resulting in fatalities and injuries among the passengers and crew. Additionally, factors such as inadequate crew coordination, poor communication, and insufficient training on the aircraft's systems and limitations contributed to the accident. #AirFrance296 #AviationSafety #PilotError #ProfessionalInvestigation #AviationHistory

When aircrew decide not to continue with a landing attempt, they initiate a go-around, opting for another try or diverting to a different airport. This maneuver can occur at various stages of the approach and for many reasons, from instability to unexpected obstacles on the runway. Safety is always the priority, and go-arounds allow for secure landings under less-than-ideal circumstances. #AviationTerms #GoAround #GainMomentum #MomentumJets

The (already) existing usage of Fly"XYZ" domains by #airports, #airlines, flight schools, and #FBOs provides you with a 'handed running start' when integrating a matching #FlyXYZ into your main website, or using it as a backup to your online address. This not only ensures a #seamless transition for #global audience but also aligns your #digitalidentity with the established recognition and trust associated with FlyXYZ.com domains in the #aviation industry. It's not just about a web address; it's about stepping into a realm of #recognition, #convenience, and a head start towards #onlineengagement. e.g. FlyAVP.com (Official) #FlyAVP #WilkesBarre #Airport

For the record, this is what 2 tonnes of JET A1 looks like... A slightly rainy, white-knuckle convoy up this afternoon. Now linked up with the initial Helipad Events crew however, ready for the week at Cheltenham Racecourse when we become the busiest airspace in the UK (in terms of movements). CAA Audit first thing in the morning, given that the helipad is licensed, just like any other lower category airfield in the UK, and then plenty of test turnouts and ground surveys to ensure we can maintain the 2 minute response time over the heliport footprint and hone our operations ahead of the live days. #helicopter #aviationsafety #aviationfire #firefighter #CAA #privateaviation
