As organizations have looked for ways to contain costs through reduced shipment sizes, the environment may prove the silent winner in some of the creative solutions being leveraged. Our annual appeals have always been an essential source of funding but this year the Big Give Christmas Challenge will play an even bigger role. ⌛ We need to raise £15,000 in pledges by the 8th September. If we are successful, we then have a chance of reaching a total of £60,000 when the challenge runs in December. 🌲 Over the last 10 years, we’ve planted more than 28 million trees with 19 partners across 12 countries. And in 2023-24 we encouraged more than 12,000 local and Indigenous community members to participate in the restoration of their lands, with women making up more than 50% of those participating and almost 500 taking leadership roles in the projects. In a world facing increasingly complex challenges, Social Foundations have become a pillar of hope for millions of people and their communities. However, as needs grow, so do the financial challenges they must navigate. In this paper, we explore an innovative approach to strengthening the financial capacity of Social Foundations, allowing them to not rely exclusively on sporadic donations. We immerse ourselves in a RECURRING DONATIONS PLAN that seeks to exponentially increase the income of the Social Foundations, thus ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of their programs towards the vulnerable population. Throughout these pages, we will discover how Social Foundations benefit from alliances with water bottling companies.
