Hiring in the FMCG sector has seen robust growth across different roles. Roles such as sales, marketing and IT, office services, and human resources, among others, have seen an increase in hiring intent. Chennai, followed by Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad top cities in FMCG hiring. When it comes to attrition, the lower incentives could be one of the reasons as there is not much difference in the salaries of current and former employees, but the gap in incentives is large. While metro cities, followed by Tier 1 and 2 have the highest attrition rates, Tier 3 and 4 cities have the lowest. Increase in hiring intent, the sector will see a robust expansion in workforce.
