We care about our colleagues and trust that, if we support them, they will do their best for our pupils. We survey colleagues regularly to see how they are and how we can improve. 📢 Our latest results are in!📢 We have areas to work on, but overall we're very, very pleased... ✅ 81% of colleagues are content at work, compared to under 50% in other schools like ours (according to TeacherTapp) ✅80% of colleagues feel leaders communicate clearly and 90% said leaders listen and respond to staff concerns (around 60% is average). We work hard on this, and feedback loops are built into the fabric of our quality assurance and school improvement model ✅Just 1% of staff reported feeling stressed as a result of their relationship with SLT ✅Our colleagues report far lower than average stress levels related to behaviour, marking, accountability, planning, pastoral concerns, behaviour & colleague relationships. We want exceptional outcomes for pupils, but we believe we do this in a sustainable way. We deliberately surveyed colleagues towards the end of a long, dark term because we knew they (and pupils) would be tired, and that the lead up to Christmas often leads to changes in school routines which some will find stressful. We wanted their honest feedback at this point! Whilst the comments gathered will be helpful in enabling us to do better, it does mean we are particularly pleased with these results.
