Let’s talk about Sustainable Real Estate this week! ◾ This week Paul Murphy of the CBRE PJM team took a look back at some of the highlights from The Dockline a prime office, fully repositioned in the heart of the IFSC. View the full Dockline Case Study video here: https://lnkd.in/eu56YtEK ◾ CBRE UK & Ireland released their annual ESG report outlining the progress we’re making on our own sustainability strategy and demonstrates how we’re helping to transform the wider real estate industry. This report shows that the largest part of CBRE’s carbon footprint is in our Scope 3 emissions – with over 90% of these being attributable to buildings we manage for clients. CBRE takes responsibility for cutting emissions across all three scopes, reducing emissions from our internal operations, with our biggest impact coming from supporting clients in transitioning their portfolio. Read full report here: https://cbre.co/3WDpllIYG4 ◾ CBRE Ireland's Director of Planning, León Murray, questions whether it is time to reconsider our approach to housing construction and explores more avenues to tackle these issues. Co-living isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, but it’s a piece of the puzzle that could help alleviate the strain on our housing market. By diversifying the types of accommodation available, we can better meet the diverse needs of our population, particularly young professionals and those seeking temporary housing. Link to article – https://lnkd.in/eXPzAvNP Market and regulatory expectations for Sustainable Real Estate are evolving rapidly.
