Significantly More Charging Units Temporarily Unavailable (TU) We've analyzed the official list of charging units eligible for federal funding under the DOT's $100M RAA grant program and found that the final data totals are significantly higher than what we and state DOTs were able to publicly track!* The table below shows the L2 and DCFC ports officially marked TU and the percentage of the overall network this represents for each CPO. Here are some of the highlights: L2 ⚡️ One third of Blink's L2 sites have at least 1 unit marked for eligibility. ⚡️50% of EV Connect's L2 units are eligible for funding. ⚡️Nearly 1 in 3 eVgo L2 units are flagged for the repair or replacement program. ⚡️OpConnect, Shell Recharge, and EVRange have more than 15% of their sites impacted. DCFC ⚡️Nearly 1 in 3 of Electrify America's sites contain at least 1 unit that is eligible for the program. ⚡️eVgo is not far behind with units flagged at nearly 29% of their listed public sites. ⚡️Blink, OpConnect, Shell Recharge, Volta and EVRange have noticeable numbers of their overall sites eligible for the program. CPOs not listed in the table have zero units marked Temporarily Unavailable. Of the larger networks, that includes Tesla's L2 Destination Charger network as well as their DCFC Supercharger network, Francis Energy Charging Network (FCN), and EVCS's west coast network. *We've asked the RAA team why the public AFDC data retrieved on Oct 11 and 12 is significantly lower than the official final list. We're awaiting a response. #evcharging #evcharginginfrastructure
