When we said the Parental Leave Summit would be FREE for all, eyebrows were raised. 👀 😯 Why not charge a pretty penny?! Especially when attendees can also receive SHRM + HRCI credits. ⭐️ But that's not the Parento ethos. We're not gatekeeping actionable parental leave resources from employers, brokers and parents. We want paid parental leave to be accessible, frictionless, and possible for every workplace in America: and it starts with having people know about the problem and the solution. Since announcing it yesterday, registrations are FLYING in. So many in fact that marketing thought the email was being spammed 😂😂 Save your spot today: https://lnkd.in/e6VuwWKQ #parentalleave #parento #paidleave #pfl #summit #conference #parentalleavesummit #shrm #hrci #workshops #caregiving #workingparents

AIFS welcomes findings of a national survey, commissioned by Parents At Work and UNICEF Australia, revealing that over 74% of women felt stressed balancing work and family commitments, compared to 57% of men. Women also bear the majority of care and household duties. The findings are supported by earlier AIFS research into couple families, including a report on sharing housework, and another into the take-up of parental leave pay. AIFS researcher Jennifer Baxter said: “Developing policies that enable both fathers and mothers to play an active role in caring for their children, and doing the hard work of running the home, has to be a top priority for employers.” More here: https://lnkd.in/g5DpUWmu #WorkingParents #ParentalLeave #Caregiving #WorkingFamilies #WorkLifeBalance

In a recent survey, women reported that they started experiencing workplace concerns immediately after learning that they were expecting. This was not only in regard to the amount of time they’d be permitted for parental leave, but also showcased concerns about childcare thereafter, and about their own feelings in returning to work—especially while their children are still young. https://bit.ly/4aGYfAp #WomeninResearch #MRX #MarketResearch
