In the ever-evolving landscape of Drone Wars, the sword ⚔️ and shield 🛡️ have become the focal points of global defense strategies. The latest article by The Defense Post highlights the critical importance of these advancements in modern military operations. As drones continue to redefine the battlefield, the need for robust offensive and defensive capabilities has never been more pressing. The "sword" symbolizes the cutting-edge drone technology being deployed for tactical strikes, surveillance, and intelligence gathering. These drones are designed to deliver precise and powerful blows, changing the dynamics of traditional warfare. On the other hand, the "shield" represents the advanced counter-drone systems developed to protect assets and personnel from these airborne threats. These systems are crucial in detecting, tracking, and neutralizing hostile drones, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of military operations. As we delve deeper into the era of Drone Wars, the integration of these technologies is paramount. The focus is now on enhancing the synergy between offensive drone capabilities and defensive countermeasures and then the Counter/Counter systems to maintain a strategic edge on the battlefield. Watch this space! 😮 Auterion has introduced a drone technology that can bypass electronic warfare countermeasures. Called the “Skynode S,” the solution enables unmanned aerial vehicles to continue operating even when GPS is degraded, jammed, or otherwise unavailable. This resistance to interference can allow drones to still reach and destroy their targets up to 90 percent of the time, according to the developer. “Skynode S is low-cost, extremely compact, and will be produced in the tens of thousands, introducing unprecedented scale to the western drone industry for the first time,“ said Auterion CEO Lorenz Meier. #military #army #defense #defence #defenseindustry #defenceindustry #defensetech #defencetech #militarytech #technology #innovation #drone #drones #uas #uav #electronicwarfare #ew

🐸💥 Allen Control Systems has demonstrated a counter-drone gun at a United States Department of Defense tactical solutions convention at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The Texas-based startup deployed its Bullfrog robotic weapon system developed for autonomous scanning and neutralization of unmanned aerial system threats. CEO Steven Simoni commented that the tests validated the Bullfrog’s capability, which “has been a near-impossibility until now … to autonomously shoot drones out of the sky with a solution that doesn’t cost the DoD millions of dollars to procure or arm.” “This means that there is now a solution to address the urgent threat of low-flying, cheap drones that have changed the battlefield,” he explained. #military #army #defense #defence #defenseindustry #defenceindustry #defensetech #defencetech #militarytech #technology #innovation #drone #drones #counterdrone #counterdronetechnology #cuas #uas #uav #unitedstates #us #airdefense #airdefence #nationalsecurity

👀 Netline Communications Technologies (NCT) has unveiled a family of drone detection systems for elusive unmanned aerial systems. Signatures of an estimated 20 percent of current drones are not available in the database, making their detection difficult. They include stealthier military drones and modified commercial drones. “At Netline we constantly learn and monitor the evolving threats in different war zones around the world to develop critical and rapid solutions,” Netline CEO Shai Palti said. “Our R&D teams have developed this innovative and adaptive algorithm that recognises common factors of airborne threats, indicating their existence without needing specific data.” #military #army #defense #defence #defenseindustry #defenceindustry #defensetech #defencetech #militarytech #technology #innovation #drone #drones #uas #uav

Interesting and illustrative summary of how #drones have already changed #warfare. The Ukrainian government is aiming to produce a million #FPV drones by 2024. To put that in context, that's about twice the number of artillery shells supplied by the entire European Union last year. UAVs now fully integrated into #Ukraine's armed forces structure. #UAV #UAS https://lnkd.in/d886sSmT
