🌿 Workshop Collaboration: Crafting Copenhagen's Climate Vision for 2035
Our recent workshop series, conducted in collaboration with Copenhagen Municipality and industry stakeholders, has set the stage for an ambitious climate plan to shape the city's green future.
Throughout three insightful workshops, our members contributed valuable knowledge and insights on three key areas crucial to achieving Copenhagen's climate goals. From revitalizing existing buildings to ensuring the sustainability of new constructions, the discussions have been guided by a commitment to sustainability, circularity, ecosystem preservation, and urban cohesion.
Here are some key takeaways from Copenhagen Municipality:
🌿 Collaborative Engagement: The workshops highlighted the importance of collaboration with the construction sector in crafting a comprehensive climate strategy.
🌿 Aesthetics and Expectations: The insights underscored the need to align expectations regarding aesthetics in older buildings with our sustainability objectives.
🌿 Maintenance Planning: Integrating climate considerations into maintenance planning, not least within social housing associations, has been identified as critical for sustainable building practices.
🌿Holistic Approach: Discussions emphasized the importance of addressing climate concerns alongside broader social sustainability issues and planetary boundaries, guided by frameworks like the Doughnut Model.
