🌟 Exciting Highlights from the DSEP Conference! 🌟
I recently had the privilege of participating in the Data Science Excellence Program (DSEP) conference, both as a panelist and a mentor. The conference video is out, and I'm thrilled to share it with all of you!
🚀 My Journey with DSEP:
As a former participant in the DSEP, I've experienced an incredible journey across various teams, domains, and even cities! This program not only allowed me to broaden my technical and people skills but also enabled me to expand my domain knowledge and explore different technical stacks. The best part? Achieving all this while staying with the same employer and forming lifelong connections.
🌐 Mentoring Young Minds:
During the panel, I was asked a thought-provoking question: "How is being a manager different from being an individual contributor (IC)?" Reflecting on this, I believe stepping into a managerial role is a privilege. It accelerates your contributions to the company, amplifies your influence on strategic roadmaps, and opens doors for collaboration across different organizations.
✨ To the Aspiring Minds:
For those of you contributing as ICs and contemplating the shift to management, remember – it's not just a role change; it's an opportunity to shape and speed up our collective journey towards innovation and excellence.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or thoughts about DSEP, transitioning roles, or data science careers in general. Let's keep learning and growing together!
