How to Properly Wash a Colored Baseball Cap   Colored caps can quickly lose their vibrant hue if not laundered carefully. Follow these gentle steps to keep your baseball hat looking fresh after wash:   1️⃣ Fill your sink with cool water and add a small amount of mild liquid detergent designed for colors. Avoid powders which can be harsh.   2️⃣ Submerge the hat and allow it to soak for 5-10 minutes. This helps the soap penetrate dirt and oil while softening them for easy removal.   3️⃣ Remove the cap from the soapy water and wash it by hand in the sink, using a light swirling motion. Be very gentle - do not twist or wring out the fabric.   4️⃣ Rinse thoroughly under cool running water to flush out all residual soap. Inspect for any remaining stains and spot clean if needed.   5️⃣ Pat semi-dry with a clean towel, taking care along the edges. Leave it slightly damp.   6️⃣ Allow your cap to air dry completely away from direct sunlight which can speed fading. Or hang it up to dry.   7️⃣ Once dry, reshape the crown by lightly rolling it between your hands if needed.   With a bit of care, your green baseball cap will stay vibrant shade after low-impact wash. Our studio has been hit up by a handful of aspiring pickleball brands (apparel and/or footwear) in the past few years, none of whom have secured pre-launch funding for their concepts. My gut says it could be about as big as a Crossfit market considering its cult status and rapid growth. (So, relatively small.) But I imagine brands will be hard-pressed to avoid cute gimmicks in their attempt to define their product from already established court shoes. As a product designer by trade, I'm a true brand nerd by nature. So my question is, will there be a pickleball brand that can capture hearts and minds better than say, a New Balance could do with a minimal swing in this market? And if so, will it be culturally influential enough for the space to become truly competitive? What do y'all think?
