Protecting our children's health is a top priority for every parent. That's why I highly recommend this amazing insurance plan. For just £6 or £11 per month, it covers everything from hospital and ICU stays to broken bones, burns, cancer, and even pre-existing medical conditions. Plus, it offers 24/7 GP access for the whole household. No more waiting on hold for hours or struggling to get an appointment. And the best part? It's so easy to set up, taking just 5 minutes. Don't wait until it's too late, ensure your family's health today! #insurance #children #parents #familyprotection #hospitallife #type1diabetes #cancer #brokenbones #bacterialmeningitis #finance #advice

"I've been fortunate to be treated by excellent doctors at world-class hospitals. In the last year alone, my insurance has covered over a million dollars in medical expenses, including a bone marrow transplant and 10 hospitalizations amounting to a combined five months of inpatient care." - Suleika Jaouad Insurance is the thing we never hope to use but so desperately need when a crisis arises. Amidst that crisis, you never want to also consider things like bankruptcy, having to choose between paying a medical bill and saving for your child’s college, or wondering how you will afford your mortgage while you take time off work to recover. These are exactly the types of scenarios we will help talk you through. We start with the highest priorities first - the things most valuable to you - and then work our way backward to ensure those things are protected. We then work closely with our insurance partners to find individualized coverage that is tailored to you. So that you, too, can have a similar experience as Suleika should the time arise. #HealthInsurance #MedicalCoverage #InsuranceProtection #FinancialSecurity #HealthcareCosts #InsurancePlanning #HealthcareCoverage #MedicalExpenses #InsuranceAdvisor

Here are three things you probably don’t know about long-term care insurance: 1. By default, most policies do not include any inflation-adjustment to their numbers—what you see is what you will get. Consider adding an inflation-protection rider and be aware of the difference between the ‘simple’ and ‘compound’ options. 2. If you’re married or in a committed relationship, you can qualify for a discount on a joint policy. 3. If your policy runs out and you do end up going on Medicaid, some state governments consider whether you bought insurance beforehand. If you spend all your long-term care benefits, certain states will qualify you for Medicaid before you fully spend down the rest of your assets. #longtermcareinsurance

Is CAPABLE covered by insurance or Medicare? Coverage for CAPABLE may vary depending on the individual's insurance plan and eligibility criteria. Some Medicare Advantage plans and Medicaid programs may cover the program, but it's important to check with the specific insurance provider for coverage details. The hospital made a billing error and charged my labor-and-delivery services as "uninsured." Bill total: $200 (thanks to a very generous uninsured patient program.) For the last few years, we have been paying some (very expensive) insurance premiums out-of-pocket and have not used our insurance, so we called and corrected their error and gave them our insurance info again. Bill total: $8000. Welcome to America, folks, where you pay insurance monthly for the privilege of paying the hospital more when you have a medical need. (I think there SHOULD be generous hospital policies to help low income patients. But the experience makes me wonder - what am I paying insurance for??) #wtf #healthcarenightmare #isthisreallife

FHA applauds the bipartisan and bicameral re-introduction of the Improving Seniors Timely Access to Care Act, vital legislation to reduce delays in care for Medicare Advantage enrollees. Nearly 60 percent of Florida’s Medicare enrollees get their care through a Medicare Advantage insurance company. Unfortunately, many seniors experience unnecessary delays and denials from their Medicare insurance companies preventing timely access to appropriate care. Everyone should receive care at the right time, in the right setting to produce the best possible outcomes – yet an FHA survey showed that more than 25% of patients in hospitals that were ready to be discharged to a skilled nursing facility for their post-acute care, could not be transferred due to delays from insurance companies. Stroke patients, patients who have had heart attacks and many others need timely access to rehabilitation services and these delays are detrimental to their recovery. Mary Mayhew
