Your retail skills are valuable and absolutely transferable into almost any field.  For anyone hiring here is a day in the life....You talk to anyone who comes in.  You watch the KPIs and coach the staff to drive performance. You teach life skills to entry level employees and hold accountable grown adults.  You multi-task like you have a legion of people in the building while really managing payroll to the quarter hour.  You have difficult conversations and console your people with every day struggles in and out of work.  You havetalk professionally and without judgment to individuals who lost their mind over a policy you can't change. You keep the place clean and visually gorgeous every day.  And you do it all with a smile and an earpiece on.  I see you.  I support you. Today we did our 10th car service at GaadiMech! Each service has deepened our understanding of customer needs, reinforcing the value of personalized support. Our one-on-one guidance throughout the servicing process builds trust and converts inquiries into happy customers. This has particularly helped us better understand the issues that car owners face while going through the servicing experience. My two learnings while talking to potential leads: 1) Don't just treat them as leads waiting to be converted. You have to put yourself in their shoes and ease out exactly the friction point they are facing. 2) Do not think of conversion as an instantaneous metric especially in a service industry because you never know when the lead turns hot. The team claps from the dressing room when a batter scores 50, 100, 150 or 200. We have also seen many times that the batters don't raise their bat to receive the reception they get, but still, the teammates clap for the milestone. It also happens when the team is not going to win the match, but the individual performance of a batter becomes a reason to appreciate. How important can it be for someone whose teammates celebrate and appreciate small milestones? Rohit Sharma or Shivam Dube, Harmanpreet Kaur or Richa Ghosh - no matter who scores 50 or 100 - a captain or a player, the team appreciates all - in winning cause or losing situation. Teammates don't celebrate if a player gets out on 49 or 99. One run completes the milestone! Learn the art to appreciate and celebrate other's tiniest milestones in your working area. People will remember you forever.

Why you’re NOT only as good as your last performance Last Saturday, Mark Cavendish was the first rider to get dropped on a challenging first stage of the Tour de France due to the heat. Many feared his early exit, but he managed to finish within the time limit alongside his team members. Today, 4 days later, he won his 35th stage in the Tour making him the sole record holder 👑 Despite the doubts surrounding him after stage 1, Cavendish remained confident in his and the team’s ability: 🗣️ “We knew what we were doing. We had a plan, we stuck to it.” The plan: survive and save energy on hilly stages by riding at his own pace, understanding that difficult stages are part of the process to get chances at victory. 🎯This goal-setting (past successes, experience, motivation, training…) contributed to keep believing in his own ability to win, not panicking when getting dropped early or having a bad day. 💡There are endless factors that can influence your day-to-day performance, so don’t let it influence your belief in your ability. Instead, stick to your plan.
