2023 is almost over, and our team has plenty to recall. We enjoy concise overviews and couldn't resist sharing them this year. With WorkNest joining Globaldev Group, we welcomed dozens of clients from Europe, America, and Africa in ad tech, healthcare and pharmaceutical, fintech and banking, and other industries. The exposure to new technical expertise has boosted our capabilities. Moreover, Globaldev Group has grown to become a medium-sized company, which increases our stability and efficiency. 2. Basically, Globaldev is now present on all continents. Except for Antarctica, perhaps. If you have a project there, we are on it. 3. Also, Worknest's joining enhanced Globaldev with a team of 100+ professionals. We are now able to better support a growing list of top-tier customers as they scale and grow their businesses. 4. In addition to them, 60+ people from all over Europe, including Poland, Portugal, Germany, Romania, and Ukraine, joined Globaldev’s team this year. 5. We’ve achieved ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security to give extra reassurance to our clients that their digital assets are fortified against any threats. 6. From 4 to just 1 website: we have collected complete information about all units. Over the years, three companies have joined Globaldev Group with their own resources. A TOUGH CALL FROM ZKSYNC’S MATTER LABS - 16% OF STAFF LET GO - Confirmed in a post from zkSync’s founder, the project’s development organization, Matter Labs, has laid off ~16% of its team. - The CEO put the change down to changes in “market environment and business needs”, citing zkSync ecosystem development teams requiring different forms of support and technology. “The launch of the Elastic Chain and ZK Nation was the right moment to re-evaluate our strategy, goals, and team composition. We went through a large org planning exercise, and it became clear that the talent and roles we have today do not perfectly match our needs”, wrote Gluchowski. - That said, various efforts are being undertaken to assist departing employees. - These include three months of base salary pay, as well as extended healthcare support and personalized career support. - Matter Labs is also allowing former-employees to keep various forms of company equipment. “To avoid painful corrections like this in the future, I will ensure that all new functions and roles we hire for are aligned with our long-term strategy while maintaining the highest performance standards” [Image generated by Grok]

When I worked onsite in a office, I would leave the candidate 1-2 min waiting in the lobby. I didn't do this out of cruelty of course, I thought it was in their best interest to be there in order to grasp a sense of our culture.
