🌟 May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🌟 Let’s come together to break the stigma surrounding mental health and prioritize our well-being. Today I am working on recertification in Mental Health First Aid. This training teaches individuals how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health illnesses and substance use disorders. The training provides the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or who is experiencing a crises. I will not diagnose or treat individuals, I will aid those showing signs or symptoms by listening and guiding them to resources. #MentalHealthAwareness #BreaktheStigma
