We are partnering with British Airways on a new digital campaign in the US showcasing Britain’s iconic film locations. This campaign brings Britain’s on-screen beauty, humor, and quirks to life, aiming to inspire US visitors to book their next vacation to Britain on British Airways. https://lnkd.in/gCrEG2w9 Our research shows that films and TV are powerful motivators for travel and film tourism is a valuable and growing part of our global tourism offer. Expedia’s ‘Set Jetting Forecast 2024’ found that nearly 30% of travellers say that TV shows and movies are more influential today than they were before, highlighting the growing significance of screen tourism. https://lnkd.in/gJuTCvij

Why reinventing and change which works is so difficult. See this video. I am a fan of Aiyo Shraddha but this one looks forced. But why does it matter. All companies get coached by the big consulting cos like McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Bain & Company etc. on Change management. What is ironic is that their business models have not changed at all. Except minor success fees linkage. But the companies are expected to do the radical shift. So what's the connect with Comedians. They have a difficult task to stay relevant to their audiences. Jokes have to be always new. But not radically different to alienate their audience. Not boring statements or force fits as audience will switch off. Big lessons on marketing on how comedians constantly hold audience's by continuous reinvention.
This video is proof that I do my own stunts. I am Tom Cruising to Singapore.

I was recently traveling with British Airways, and for the first time, I actually paid attention to the safety video. 😲 Usually, these videos are something you tune out—but this one was different. British Airways brought in several elements of British pop culture and humour, and it made all the difference in really standing out to me. 🕴️✨ So, why did this video actually grab my attention? 1. Creativity that cuts through the noise: Instead of the usual monotony, they used familiar cultural moments to spark interest. 2. A touch of nostalgia: The Bridgerton reference was playful, relatable, and unexpected. 3. Engagement: It made a traditionally dry moment feel fresh and fun. I can’t remember the last time a safety video stood out to me like this. It's a perfect reminder of how creativity can make the ordinary feel extraordinary. What’s the last “boring” thing that grabbed your attention because of a creative twist?

“It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it” One of Warren Buffett’s more famous quotes and with the speed of information today, it’s never been more relevant. Take the aviation industry for instance. Anxiety around flying seems to be increasing yet, surprisingly, flying has never been safer. You are statistically more likely to have an accident driving to the airport than 40,000 feet in the air. For every video of something terrible happening, there are a million more of passengers clapping safely as they land. A company’s reputation is one of its most valuable assets, which is why reputation management is crucial across all industries, not just aviation. At CARMA, we understand the complexities PR and Communication leaders face in managing it. That’s why we’ve created Reputation by CARMA – a holistic view of reputation performance across six core pillars through the lens of traditional media, social media and audience opinion. It’s built specifically for PR & Comms teams. To demonstrate its effectiveness, we’ve launched our latest research into the reputations of some of the world’s biggest airlines including British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Emirates and Singapore Airlines. Download the report now and take a look at how they stack up: https://bit.ly/3XDK7C2
We’re excited to launch Reputation by CARMA—designed to help PR and communications leaders understand the true impact of media, social media, and audience perceptions on corporate reputation. ✈️🌍 Our 2024 Airlines Reputation Report reveals how major airlines are viewed worldwide. While British Airways faces scrutiny in the UK, Malaysia Airlines is still struggling to rebuild its global reputation a decade after the loss of flight 370. Meanwhile, Emirates continues to soar across global markets. Curious why sustainability ranks lower than service quality? Or how crisis response affected the reputations of Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific? 👉 Download the full report now to discover more: https://bit.ly/3XDK7C2 #CARMAReputation #AirlineReputation #PRInsights #Communications #AirlineIndustry #Reputation

I am beyond excited to share our global airlines reputation report, which showcases our Reputation by CARMA methodology - a new, holistic approach to reputation measurement and analysis which is designed specifically for PR and Comms professionals. It traces the audience journey to measure reputational pillars across traditional media, social conversation and audience research, to provide actionable insights into what has impact, and what doesn't. Some highlights from our airlines report include: ✈ Singapore Airlines gave us a masterclass in handling a crisis and in making business performance relevant and engaging to a general consumer audience ✈ Cathay Pacific was less successful in navigating organisational challenges, but impact on audience opinion was not as strong as might have been expected ✈ Emirates' global successes and home-grown loyalty ✈ Malaysia Airlines' reputation still suffering from the loss of MH370 Download the report for more details and insights! 👇 https://lnkd.in/eXzNY7ae #reputation #publicrelations #communications #airlines #aviation #PRmeasurement #measurePR
