As a retired veteran with PTSD. I had the worst experience of my life retiring during COVID, I was denied 2 loan modifications, denied a HAF assistance, my VA counselor changed, lost roughly $80,000 because of improper counseling because I wanted to pay my loan current and because of COVID forbearance, my 15 late payments, I can not get any mortgage company to give me a new loan. All while waiting 7 months to get accepted into the VA during COVID, and 3 years to finally get my VA claim compensation, which ironically was enough for my mortgage payment. I even wrote a personal letter to David Spector and send a direct message. Even faxed a letter as well. Letter was sent “certified mail “ and I was told was received by a security person and no one knows where it is at. With interests rates finally dropping, I’d love the opportunity for PennyMac to answer the bell when they say they help Veterans, because I tried everything. And, i’m an Afghanistan War Veteran with a PTSD rating that completed 25 years of Naval Service. 1moDavid, It's fantastic to see PennyMac leading in serving and empowering our active service members and Veterans. However, I hope the execution surpasses that of the current VA loan assumption program. Ordinarily, I wouldn't contact a CEO directly on this type of issue, this is the first time I am doing this but at this point the poor service and lack of any direction for help has lead me to you. Today my goal is to get my Veteran a responsive PennyMac VA loan assumption processor. Despite over 50 emails and 13 phone calls since May, we've received no answers or responses from our current assigened loan officer or processor. It seems we have been assigned an ineffective representative. As Michelle Capps mentioned below, let’s consistently give back to our Veterans—starting here would be a great step because currently we have the lives of two veterans being largely impacted by a very poor service which is not indicative of your track record as a leader and I am sure it is not a standard you would tolerate from your team. I hope you do not find this issue too small for you to deal with and can give us some direction on who I should be speaking with to serve our mutual clients better. Best regards, James
