📢 Every 27 seconds, someone in the world is diagnosed with blood cancer. Finding a matching donor is vital, and with 70% of patients depending on unrelated donors, the work of DKMS is more crucial than ever. DKMS operates in Poland, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, India, Chile, and South Africa, but the database serves a global community. The more people who register, the better the chances of finding a match for those in need 💪💖 In support of this life-saving mission, we recently hosted a bone marrow donor registration drive at our office. We are deeply proud of our volunteers and employees who showed tremendous dedication to this cause. This initiative is even closer to our hearts as one of our colleagues is currently in need of a match. Please consider registering to help her and many others who are waiting for their lifesaving "blood twin." 🙌 Don't wait! Give hope to those who need it most 🌟🌍 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dgk27_qD Let's spread the word and make a positive impact! 🌍💙 #DKMS #SaveALife #BeTheMatch #pepcore #careforcolleagues

This month is Dry July, where people are encouraged to go alcohol-free in July and raise funds for people affected by cancer. One of the new features of the Australian Cancer Atlas 2.0, launched last month, is how the prevalence of risk factors associated with cancer, such as risky alcohol consumption, varies by where people live. The Atlas 2.0 (https://lnkd.in/gvpQiVh5) shows there are clearly areas where there is higher than average risky alcohol consumption (shown in red) and those areas that have lower than average consumption (shown in blue). Research has shown that alcohol use contributes to around 5% of the total cancer burden, and also causes other health problems. So go Dry in July, not only to raise funds for cancer, but to improve your own health.

Today, we support FodboldtrøjeFredag (FootbaalJerseyFriday)🙏🏻😊 34 colleagues from TS TECH A/S and EA Automatic A/S turned up today in a football shirt... Super cool💪🏻😁 A nice sum is at this moment on its way to the Børnecancerfonden ( Children's Cancer Foundation)👌☺️ Each year, approx. 200 children get cancer – perhaps the most unfair thing that can happen to a child and a family. The disease requires long-term treatment and puts life on hold for both the children and the relatives - That's why we support 🙏🏻 You can also join - click here: https://lnkd.in/dvBeM-qA #tstechdk #børnecancerfonden #fodboldtrøjefridag #portesbjerg #businessesbjerg #yourelectricengineeringpartner #weadvalue
