🌟 Reflecting on my journey, I've realized something crucial that many companies overlook during their hiring process. 🌟 During my career, I've contributed to various projects that significantly impacted company growth in USD terms. This experience has taught me that the key to success isn't necessarily knowing how to write every line of code. It's about understanding how to solve problems and drive business growth. 🔍 Evaluating candidates shouldn't just be about technical skills. 🔍 What truly matters is: - Problem-Solving Ability: Can the candidate identify and approach problems effectively? - Business Acumen: Do they understand how to develop strategies that contribute to business growth? - Logical Thinking: Can they think critically and logically to navigate complex challenges? 💡 Here's my belief: Give a smart individual 1-2 days, and they can learn to do anything they set their mind to. At a senior level, technology hiring becomes less about technology and more about business. By which I mean, companies who are looking for someone to solve a business problem and know that the solution needs an expert who will solve it with technology, find that they can engage the best candidates. Because those candidates relish the challenge. They have business expertise as well as technology experience. They use their technical knowledge to serve their business expertise A lot of the conversations I have with companies as we start to shape a brief are really about getting to the nub of the question, "what is the problem you're trying to solve?"
