Grau Bär Design Studios Downstairs … part 3 Sharing pictures from ‘Prototyping Studio’ where we have ‘the mother of all Machines’ … a Surfacing, Sliding & Screw Cutting Lathe This is beautiful machine built to last … with a proper cast iron body and hardened & ground Bedways for saddle and tail stock It’s from an American Manufacturer Grizzly tools and they make reasonably good things … we have few more machines from them … We procured this recently around 2017 for doing some research work on jewelry tools and find it very useful … only drawback is that it runs on American electrical supply and we have to use a step down transformer to bring our supply of 220 v to 110 volts Tools and machines are faithful friends… and there is one Jewellery lathe upstairs too 😇 ….
