While many find the effort by organisations to provide focus on #DiversityEquityInclusion is new and #progressive, I would argue that PETRONAS has been at it since the early days of its formation with the intent of achieving just that. Putting #talentdevelopment at the core has allowed the company to provide equitable opportunities to many through initiatives such as education sponsorship and outreach programmes to create interest in STEM education for both boys and girls, together with actions to support women, international staff and young leaders effevtive participation in senior leadership and critical roles. Over the years, we stepped up our effort on #diversity and #inclusion by setting clear targets to be achieved and the impact to be measured by staff engagement surveys. Even AI technology is now being used to further ensure real outcomes are being achieved. Sharing some of our many efforts in this article. 🌐 On this International ERG Day, I've been reflecting on the profound impact that Employee Resource Groups have had on my personal and professional journey. Having served as a former ERG Chair and currently as a Community Leader supporting ERG leaders and oversight managers worldwide in their development and growth, I've firsthand witnessed the transformative power of these communities in shaping entire organizational cultures. Here are a couple of key insights I've taken away from my experience: 💡 ERGs serve as true innovation hubs, promoting collective support for employees and sparking fresh ideas and perspectives that accelerate organizational growth. 💡ERGs act as catalysts for the advancement of leadership and professional skills, offering invaluable opportunities to individuals within their communities who might otherwise have been overlooked. TRICK TO GET FASTLY PROMOTED   After having physically analyzed thousands of employees, there is one way that guarantees promotion every time.   Every year, people get promoted in a company; everyone knows it. The question is WHO does.   The most successful employees have ONE thing in common, which is to either come to work early or leave late. Because not only do they work harder, but they also outshine others.   No one cares how much you suffer inside; people only see the outside, the 'tip of the iceberg' if you want.   In my case with TotalEnergies, for example, I may have had tons and tons of speeches. But I was also already grinding at the office at 8 a.m. and leaving at 9 p.m., generally with business meetings after, while also doing business outside.   The harder you work, the more results you get.
