It's really easy for your PATnic guests to make a donation on the day. To give £10, all you need to do is text PATNIC to 70085. You can also choose an amount from £1 to £20 and simply add that number after PATNIC. For example, to donate £5 text PATNIC5 to 70085 and to donate £20 text PATNIC20 to 70085. Please Gift Aid your donation if you can. Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message. What is a PATnic? It's a picnic with a difference – and everyone is invited! Host a PATnic with your family, friends, neighbours, work colleagues and pets, and have fun while raising money for Pets As Therapy. We're inviting our volunteers, establishments, supporters, YOU to host a PATnic and raise funds for Pets As Therapy. It's a chance for people and pets to come together to chat, share food and drink, perhaps play games and take photos. With your help, the money raised at PATnics will ensure that we can continue to visit people in local communities. What's more, if you host a PATnic this year, you will be entered into a free prize draw — there are some great goodies up for grabs. Help us avoid a dry spell in our client pantry in 2024! We’ve been seeking companies, houses of worship, book clubs, etc. to join in our “12 Months of Caracole” donation drives to keep our client pantry stocked. Having access to proper hygiene and cleaning products is essential to maintaining health, but these items cannot be purchased with EBT cards/SNAP Benefits. With the majority of our clients living with less than $15K a year, we collect donations of the items to distribute to our clients in need. Participating is easy: 1) Pick an available month in 2024 to hold a donation drive. Visit caracole.org/collect to see what months are free! 2) Contact David White at dwhite@caracole.org or call (513) 619-1483 to confirm your organization’s participation. 3) Find out what items are most needed by visiting caracole.org/collect 4) Ask members of your organization to donate personal care and hygiene items during your designated month. 5) Get props from Caracole on social media for contributing! 6) Drop off your donations at our office in Northside, or make pick-up arrangements with us by calling David at (513) 619-1483. At Caracole, we are committed to preserving dignity for everyone we serve. As simple as it may sound, your donation of these items is an important contribution in making this happen. #DonationDrive #nonprofit #giveback #dogood #makeadifference

Join us for our #LCBAKindness Campaign, a movement dedicated to celebrating and spreading kindness in our communities. For every act of kindness shared through our website at www.LCBAlife.org, LCBA will donate $10 to a different charity each month. If you share your act of kindness on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn using the hashtag #LCBAKindness, we’ll double that donation to $20. Together, we can make a real difference, with donations totaling up to $1,000 each month. Simple acts like helping a neighbor, volunteering your time, or sending a thoughtful card can go a long way. Let’s work together to make kindness count! To start the campaign off, we’ll be donating to Feeding America for the month of October. Feeding America is a nationwide network of food banks that works to combat hunger and provide meals to those in need. With every $1 donated, they can help provide at least 10 meals to families in need. Your kindness could make a significant impact on the lives of many. It costs $0.00 to be kind, but LCBA will donate $10–$20 for your acts of kindness! 💚 #LCBAKindness #LCBAlife #LCBA #Fraternal #FraternalBenefitSociety #TomorrowTogether #LifeInsurance #LifeInsuranceWithaConscience #DifferentKindofLifeInsurance

Giving a child a book they can own can be a powerful investment in their future and their wellbeing. That’s why we’ve been working with the Children's Book Project to do just that. Using our business to do better, as a B Corp. So we put out the call to our shoppers to leave out any children’s books they’d like to donate and we’ve had a great response. On top of making our weekly deliveries, our incredible drivers have been collecting these donations, ready to bring back for our charity partner to sort and re-gift. We’ve estimated around 8,000 books have been donated and we can’t thank people enough for the kindness that this shows. From our generous shoppers and hard-working drivers to all the team at The Children’s Book Project. “Once again, the families that shop with Abel & Cole have amazed us by donating thousands of preloved children’s books to The Children’s Book Project. They are now on their way to new adventures with children, many of whom own few if any books of their own. Families can continue to donate books all year round at drop points or with free doorstep collections, by visiting https://lnkd.in/eCVDCxqv. Thank you for your support" Kristin Knell, Children’s Book Project. #Charity #Community #BCorp #Donation

Happy International Day of Charity! Today, we celebrate the incredible impact of charitable organizations in our communities. Charities are essential in supporting important causes and promoting transparency. At the Consumer Protection Division, we recognize their critical role in safeguarding consumer rights. To ensure your donations are impactful and go to reputable charities, keep these tips in mind: - Check Registration: Verify with state authorities. - Review Transparency: Look for financial info and annual reports on their website. - Research Ratings: Use Charity Navigator or GuideStar. - Read Reviews: See feedback from other donors. - Verify Contact Info: Ensure they have a physical address and phone number. - Ask Questions: Inquire about how donations are used. Support charities wisely and help make a positive impact! #InternationalDayOfCharity #ConsumerProtection #CommunityImpact #SupportCharities

The way we give needs stirring up, Long-standing barriers hold us back from baking a difference. Neil Heslop, CEO at Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) stated the importance of widespread giving, but we need a new approach. At Donup, the power of bitesize donations is underestimated. Forget the selection anxiety of knowing where to contribute or whether you can trust in the impact to be carried out. Use our speedy-sign up and donate a one-off or regular £5 to our active crowdfund projects, which change regularly sending your donations to where it's needed most. We'll send an impact update straight to your dashboard, we protect your donation, so in the rare case that anything goes wrong we'll send you a refund, and you cancel regular donations anytime, with a single click 🍩 Make the first contribution today, through our first project, replenishing Pecan Foodbank's stolen goods: https://lnkd.in/eSZQTbCS P.s. your donation will be doubled thanks to our local partner THE PECKHAM SETTLEMENT ✅ #charity #fundraiser #donup #bitesize #donation

I'll write your case studies, scripts and articles, sprinkled with magic particles, like NLP and psychology, all for a great value fee. More than just an alphabet rearranger.
Did you know each dog breed has a distinctive bark? There's a huge opportunity for your small charity to stand out with a unique tone of voice (TOV) because: 📢 Blending in doesn't bring in donations 📢 Many charities are still playing it safe 📢 Being braver could help you navigate the cost of living crisis It's far too big a topic to cover in one LinkedIn post, but here are a few simple ideas to help spark a positive change. 💡Tap into the real voices and stories of those you help 💡Use bold and direct language to get attention in a crowded space 💡Analyse your current TOV against three similar charities to identify opportunities In a challenging environment, even small changes could help you cut through the noise. When did you last review your charity's tone of voice? PS We've now had our amazing four-legged friend (pictured below) for a year. 🧡 #fundraising #charity #ToneofVoice
