What on earth have I done now?! It's week 2 of Doddie Aid, bringing friends, family and strangers together to unite, raising funds and awareness in the battle against MND, supporting the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. In the last 7 days, I've been more active than in the past 4 months. Although I can't run at all or walk any great distance, I've clocked up 25 miles on my exercise bike. I have to be mindful not to go too far too soon because of my own MND or my legs will be like linguini for the rest of the day! If you've not signed up already, there are still 4 weeks to go and it's so simple. It takes all of 3 minutes of your time. A £20 donation gets you in, goes towards finding better treatments and you can get a cracking team snood too. A never-say-die attitude - All out attack - Relentless. That's what we need to be against MND. Just ask anyone that lives with the condition or the family and friends affected by it. Sadly, MND is not a good news story, with the average life expectancy after diagnosis just 2-3 years. This is why we are doing this and why I'm breaking up your 'Scrolliosis' to raise awareness. And why am I in my My Name'5 Doddie Foundation / OddBalls Apparel LTD PJs on a serious networking site like LinkedIn? Well this photo at The Ryder Cup helped Bob have an undefeated week, so maybe some of that PJ magic might help me and Team Glasgow - Doddie Aid catch up to the rest of the field! 💪💙💛💙💪

The fundraiser in me tends to react most strongly (and effectively) to a deadline. With that in mind:

Wings For Life World Run is fast approaching on May 5. This unique event unites participants worldwide to run or walk simultaneously to raise funds for those affected by spinal cord injuries. Instead of a traditional finish line, a virtual Catcher Car gives chase, marking your personal endpoint in the race when it 'catches' you.   You can partake in this event by either joining an organised run in your state or simply by downloading the app to participate virtually from any location. 100% of entry fee is dedicated to spinal cord research, aiming to find a cure and improve the lives of those affected with spinal cord injury.   Let's lace up for this meaningful cause.
