Revenue Growth Strategist - 5x Sales Leader - Business Coach - I use digital technology to help companies engage with their employees or customers
I often get asked what my company does. The easy answer is digital signage and martech. The long answer, is giving examples of the endless amount of use cases and verticals where it provides value to a companies employees and customers. #retail - #retailers #banking #grocery #Cstores etc #restaurant #education #entertainment #transportation Office/HQ #corporatecommunications #internalcommunication #manufacturing #Learninganddevelopment Billboards and other #DOOH platforms #automotive #hospitality #hotels The list goes on.... This is example of how we use digital displays to help JFK International Air Terminal improve the travel experience, brining value to both the staff and most importantly, their customers. STRATACACHE and Scala continue to power the most digital displays around the globe.
We are thrilled to announce the details of our successful partnership with JFK International Air Terminal – the operator of Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport, following our collaboration to deploy tech innovation throughout Terminal Four (T4) at New York's JFK International Airport. Read the full release here: https://lnkd.in/eNCF8ZyB Since November 2022, Scala, part of the STRATACACHE family of technology companies, began working with JFKIAT to transform Terminal Four, bringing forth improvements to the overall passenger journey. #STRATACACHE #Scala #JFKIAT #DigitalSignage #PressRelease #JFKAirport

The manual explains the technical and operational factors involved in overseeing the determination of minimum operating levels for airports. This manual integrates information from ICAO Annexes, State documents, and practices. It aids the undertaking of the roles of State of the Operator/Registry and State of the Aerodrome. Additionally, this manual serves aerodrome and facility planners to enhance an understanding of the methodology used by operators in establishing their aerodrome the minima, helping ensure adherence to ICAO's Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) and Procedures. Airports and Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) often face significant challenges when implementing full-fledged Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems (A-SMGCS). The high initial investment, complex integration process, and ongoing maintenance costs make it difficult for many to adopt these vital safety systems. On 28th November 2024 the regulation making the ACR/PCR (aircraft classification rating/pavement classification rating) mandatory for ICAO member states (however, a delayed applicability for EASA member states until 2026 is envisaged - see page 4 of EASA ED Decision 2024/004/R). This new methodology for assessing the pavement strength has direct implications for the life cycle and maintenance of airports' runway system. Dr. Carsten Kercher, pavement expert of ACI EUROPE's World Business Partner (WBP) airsight and Finland's Airport Operator Finavia, will provide an overview in an ACI webinar on 28th June of the changes from the ACN/PCN (Aircraft Classification Number/Pavement Classification Number) to the new methodology and what this means in practical terms for airports.

SESAR 3 Joint Undertaking - Greater predictability, increased capacity and an improved environmental footprint are all on the cards for aviation as Europe and other world regions move forward with the implementation of trajectory-based operations (TBO). But the devil is in the detail, agreed stakeholders, who came together for the first-ever Global TBO Symposium in Brussels from 4 to 6 June. https://hubs.la/Q02B3pH-0

As a local whose road has seen more than our fair share of disruption due to this project, I'm hoping that National Highways actually considers the impact this closure has on the communities in the surrounding area, and actually assigns some manpower to ensure speed, HGV limits and traffic restrictions are adhered to. There is a 7.5 tonne HGV limit which is wilfully ignored by the drivers working on the project (don't come at me with the 'rights to access' excuse, your drivers have a whole motorway and junction as access, they don't need to come down country lanes to miss the queues), the speed limit of 30 mph is rarely policed, except for local volunteers (the fastest speed recorded has been 89mph...), and the potholes created by this excess of traffic and weight on the roads has led to the local area being unnavigable at various stages over the last year. We understand there is a bit of pain to go through to complete the project, which will ultimately have a positive impact, but to what cost for local communities National Highways? It's not a big ask to police the local roads with workers, directing traffic on appropriate roads, to minimise disruption and ensure the safety of those living in the area.
The M25 junction 10 (Wisley) to junction 11 (A320 Chertsey Interchange) will be closed both ways from 9pm Friday 15 March to 6am Monday 18 March. Diversions will be in place but heavy congestion and long delays are expected in and around the area. Please only travel if your journey is necessary, or choose another form of transport for your journey. Latest at: ▶️ https://lnkd.in/e7ABKPEF

Narita Airport plans to consolidate its three terminals into one from early 2030 in stages. This is a pretty bold move in my opinion considering T1, which is the first to get the axe, has only just gone through a major renovation/expansion in late 2000s. As I have a little difficulty visualising how the new consolidated terminal and associated ground transportation will be implemented myself, below is an illustration from the airport operator NAA that I found helpful. #newterminal #airport #airportplanning #terminalplanning #boldnewplans #naa #nhk
