In every conversation with the interns taking part in our 6-month internship program and with their mentors we learn lessons about teamwork. The lesson which Hristo and Vasilena taught us is about the importance of challenging oneself. To challenge oneself and rise to the challenge, to find one’s professional path, to put oneself into someone else’s shoes and admit that we have things to share but we also have things to learn. Our interns and mentors have insatiable curiosity, and this is what makes the program such a great success for both the young talents and their mentors. 🎙️ Vasilena: My internship in Philip Morris Bulgaria helped me acquire teamwork skills and assume responsibility for the assigned tasks. It also taught me about what a satisfactory work environment comes down to. Being part of this team was a real adventure in which dynamism was the routine. I believe that the skills and knowledge I mastered with the help of my mentor and the other co-workers will play an important part in my professional development in the future. 🎙️ Hristo: For me to mentor a young talent represents a great opening into the way in which this new generation thinks and works. From my day-to-day communication with the young people participating in the internship program of Philip Morris Bulgaria I learned more about their perspectives on the various aspects of our business. Transferring experience and knowledge to an intern who is just starting their professional journey was a unique opportunity to challenge myself as a mentor. #insidePMBG

#Internship is beneficial for both the intern and the organization. It gives the intern exposure to real job challenges, leveraging ascending learning curve for young interns and also benefits organization with fresh blood and out of the box ideas coming without the constraints of normal day-to-day duties.. Obviously the #intern who achieves and proves him/herself during the internship is most likely to be hired by the organization when needed. A ready candidate who knows the business already and familiar with the company's processes, fits in the system immediately and always eager to learn and achieve..

Today marks the end of my internship at Global Alliance Logistics Pte Ltd ✨ I would like to extend my appreciation for the guidance and opportunities given. It was not easy to adapt to the fast paced working environment in the beginning, but I eventually managed to handle import shipments myself from documentation to arranging door delivery. 🤜🏻 Excited to carry these lessons forward to the next chapter! #Internship

Thanks Louise 😃 I had the pleasure of actively participating in Group AMANA internship and #Emiratization program. There is a great talent within the Emirati youth, and with the right opportunities, their potential can truly shine, making the future look bright. Interacting with the new joiners and interns, I tried focusing on some "uncommon" skills. The incredibly powerful tool of #activelistening to understand the others, focusing on the present moment without distraction. I conducted specific training on this, and people loved it! How mastering own emotions and understanding those of the people around you through #emotionalintelligence can drive success for everyone involved. The importance of communication, building trust, and fostering relationships with active #teambuilding. Working together as a team is often more productive than sitting alone in front of your laptop all day. I emphasized the importance of #understandingcontracts, whether it's a tenancy agreement, a mortgage, a construction contract or the privacy policy of a new app. Knowing what rights and obligations you have is a crucial skill in any discipline. This experience made me realize that it is also critical to recognize the revolutionary force that Gen. Z brings to the workplace. Consider the attitude of new Olympic athletes, whether they win or not—they are generally humble, appreciative of the experience, and thankful for the opportunity. What are your thoughts about this?
