Embracing diversity is something that companies must do in 2024. Celigo has facilitated antisemitism prevention training, employee resource groups, international cultural events, STEM access donations, local community outreach, youth education funding, safe spaces for women and LGBTQIA+, winter coat drives, country-wide volunteering opportunities, minority speaking + education sessions, and men's health awareness programs.
Everyone has a right to feel respected, protected, and valued in their community, and companies that do not embrace this will fall behind.
Now let's zoom out to the bigger picture.
There is a lot of anger out there, a lot of people are mad, and a lot of people seem to have genuine hate for those who are different.
People who hate are lazy. Too lazy to connect with someone different. Too lazy to try and learn about someone’s story. Too lazy to try to change their minds and hearts.
Too lazy to understand something other than what they have been taught.
In a world full of hate, it is a lot easier to be accepting and celebrate differences.
If everyone was the same, we’d all be pretty boring.
