Rehabilitation interventions are complex and studying their effectiveness is methodologically challenging. In our new paper in the European Journal of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (part of a series from Cochrane Rehabilitation), we offer an alternative to the randomized control trial when it cannot be conducted.
