Clear eyes, full carts, can't lose. Who else just finished tuning into #PinterestPresents today? It was an entertaining and succinct presentation that packed a punch all in under an hour. 💻 My main takeaways? With my marketing hat on.... - Pinterest is in its glow-up era. After years of playing catch-up and being the social platform underdog, Pinterest is punching above its weight and coming for Google and Meta. The channel is growing high value audiences, improving shopability and low-funnel offerings, and providing competitive automated features. - The Pinterest demographic is skewing younger with more #GenZ users discovering the platform and using it to shop or as a safe space to express themselves creatively. Collages are proving to be a new tool for marketers with shoppable products within them. This feature is in beta mode for a select few advertisers and is expected to roll out in 2025. - Pinterest is emphasizing that it's an overwhelmingly positive social media platform and leads the industry in user well-being. Pinterest wants to be a part of creating a standard for a positive, healthier, safer internet culture. "We do not need to trade our children's emotional well-being for a return on ad spend." -It's rolling out new shopping tools and AI features plus clean-room partnerships & CAPI.
