Pioneer Natural Resources Company’s Post

As part of the newly announced $15.6 million Permian Strategic Partnership and Abell-Hanger Foundation initiative to expand the Harmony Public School system in the Permian Basin, Pioneer is proud to contribute more than just financial support. In addition to funding, we've donated 33 acres of land valued at $2.64 million to support building the Midland Harmony Science Academy.   The Midland Harmony Science Academy will offer a rigorous STEM-based curriculum, providing students with hands-on learning experiences and preparing them for future careers. With enrollment initially open for Pre-K through 2nd grade, the academy will gradually expand to accommodate up to 1,500 students in Pre-K through 12th grade from diverse backgrounds over the next decade.   We're honored to partner with the Permian Strategic Partnership and Abell-Hangar Foundation on this important initiative to bring more educational opportunities to underserved communities in our region. By increasing access to high-quality STEM education, we're investing in the long-term prosperity of the Permian Basin and developing our future energy workforce. https://lnkd.in/eNZ_4wBu
