🔝A EuroHPC Success Story: Human In-silico Clinical Trials to assess Drug-induced Arrhythmic Risk 💊 Today we shine a spotlight on a new EuroHPC success story, which by leveraging EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) computational capabilities, pioneered ethical practices in drug development, ensuring a reduction in costs and animal research. The project goal involves replicating human clinical trial data, bringing us closer to personalized drug prescriptions and transforming conventional drug administration approaches. 💻⚡EuroHPC's resources, namely on #VEGA supercomputer (COBISS / IZUM - Institute of information science Maribor, Slovenia) played a crucial role in the success of this project. The simulations conducted on VEGA facilitated a comprehensive human clinical safety trial, including a control population with a placebo effect. 🎯 Read more: https://lnkd.in/dfSrzXXg
