Perhaps surprisingly, this isn't the September cover of The Surfer's Journal. This is Planhat's Head of Business Development, Alexander Ehrensvard carving up Dume Point at last year's Planhat Open. Born in Australia, raised on an arable farm in the Southernmost point of Sweden, Alex caught the surf bug while living in Australia as a student. Practicing on breaks in the Arctic circle during the offseason, Alex has since surfed with Planhat on “workations” in Lombok, Cape Town and Chile. On surfing at Planhat Open, Alex says “Point Dume is an epic spot. It's uniquely shallow with an incredible point break, and not too many people find their way out there so you can really find your flow. And if you're lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the odd shark...” Join Alex for a surf at Planhat Open, 6-9 October.
