CIF Southern Area Football End of the season games Start up This Week Now that widespread hypothesis about conceivable division situation and potential matchups has reached a conclusion, the California Interscholastic Organization (CIF) Southern Area football end of the season games can start. The segment office on Oct. 29 uncovered the 216 secondary school groups that will contend across 14 divisions. All divisions with the exception of the eight Division 1 sections, who will begin play one week from now, include 16 groups each and opening-round games Nov. 2-3. The current week's all's games are Nov. 3 except if noted in any case. While top-cultivated and unbeaten, St. John Bosco of Bellflower and Mater Dei of St Nick Ana have been close to the highest point of state and public rankings the entire season and are weighty top picks to arrive at the Division 1 title game, there is undeniably less consistency in different divisions. Five of the six groups in the strong Trinity Association are in the Division 1 section, with Orange Lutheran, JSerra of San Juan Capistrano, and St Nick Margarita of Rancho Santa Clause Margarita joining St. John Bosco and Mater Dei. San Clemente, which faces an overwhelming opening-round task inverse St. John Bosco, Centennial of Crown, and Sierra Ravine of Chatsworth make up the rest of the section. Servite of Anaheim, the solitary Trinity Association group not in the Division 1 end of the season games, will have Valencia of Valencia in Division 2. The Division 2 section additionally includes Edison of Huntington Ocean side visiting top-cultivated Rancho Cucamonga, Los Alamitos confronting Upland at Westminster High, and Mission Viejo facilitating Palos Verdes, which at 10-0 is the solitary unbeaten group in the section. "I think we have an exceptionally serious division wherein on some random Friday night, any of the 16 groups can beat one another," Mission Viejo Mentor Chad Johnson told The Age Times. "As a mentor, you simply believe that the Johnnys and Joes should be fairly equivalent, so your X's and O's matter. I think in this division, everybody's Johnnys and Joes are in a similar ballpark. I'm not completely certain that is the situation in the division above us." #football #football #NFL #NFL #nflfootball #ciffootball

"I’ve only known Aaron personally over the last year, but after playing against him in the NHL I had an inclination that he had an amazing story to tell, as most role players do in the NHL. I was right. His story will serve as an inspiration to so many people as it is a true depiction of mind over matter." - Jordin Tootoo (NHL alumnus and Author - All The Way: My Life on Ice) Amazing review by the-one-and-only @jtootoo22 🙌 Get your copy by following the link below. Breaking barriers isn't just about shattering what's been before; it's about reshaping the future. Take Erin Matson's story, for instance. At just 23, she's not only a five-time NCAA Field Hockey champion but also stands as the youngest head coach in the NCAA. It makes you think, doesn't it? Age is often seen as a gatekeeper to opportunity, but Erin's journey reminds us that it's really just a number. The only true barriers are the ones we place upon ourselves or the limits we let others impose on us. Her achievements challenge the status quo and inspire a question we should all ponder—what could we accomplish if we didn't let age define our capabilities? In my role, I talk a lot about 'peak' times. But what if our 'peak' is just a series of continual ascents, not confined by the digits on our birth certificate? As Erin coaches those who were once her teammates, she's proving that leadership, excellence, and innovation aren't bound by age. They're fueled by passion, dedication, and the courage to step onto the field and just go for it. Let's carry this lesson with us, on and off the field. Whether you're 23, 43, or 63, your next championship moment could be just around the corner. #NoAgeLimits #BreakingBarriers #PeakPerformance
Erin Matson won four NCAA Field Hockey Championships as a player. She graduated, was offered UNC's coaching job, and became the youngest head coach in the NCAA. She just won her FIFTH championship by age 23 — this time, coaching her former teammates.
