Robert Schad, the founder of Husky Technologies and a member of the Plastics Hall Of Fame, died July 11 in Toronto. He was 95. Schad's personal beliefs on responsibility guided how he ran Husky. Sustainable operations, orderly and clean shops and employee health were priorities.
A mastermind who gave me a lot of inspiration for my technical thinking. Rest in peace my friend.
Sorry to hear it .I heard about his innovative mindset and turned Husky into a renowned, world class organization. Condolences to his family and loved ones. RIP.

He personally hired me in 1985. During the interview he was cordial and extremely nice. I used to go to work very early in the morning but could never beat him at the arrival. At the time there were only about 16 engineers in my area. He was the nicest boss and a great human being ever? May he RIP.
🙏🙏🙏 I was privileged to have met Mr. Schad early on in my career and he is clearly recognized in our industry. My condolences to his family.
